¶ Overview
The scenario template module is designed for rapid assessment, so the configuration of various model modules has been simplified during planning. These configurations include:
¶ Simplified Hydrogeological Model:
¶ The geological terrain is fixed, and the two-dimensional scenario represents a horizontal cross-section (XY plane) at the desired simulation depth within a rectangular area. The geological material is homogeneous.
¶ Users can customize parameters such as length and width and fine-tune material property parameters.
¶ Predefined Chemical Reactions:
¶ For scenario templates requiring chemical reactions, the necessary chemical species and reaction equations are preconfigured.
¶ For example, the bioremediation template includes fermentation reactions, degradation reactions for chlorinated organic compounds, redox reactions, and microbial growth equations as part of its chemical reaction network. This reduces the burden on users for data collection.
¶ Flexible Scenario Design for Users:
¶ Users can adjust parameters such as upstream and downstream constant water head, pollutant locations and concentrations, injection well positions, and reagent concentrations.
¶ The model allows for the execution of various scenarios, enhancing the efficiency of site management assessments.
